Advanced Magnet Lab Inc. to present at the National Defense Industrial Association Mine-to-Magnet workshop

Advanced Magnet Lab Inc. is set to present and participate in the first annual Mine-to-Magnet workshop held by the NDIA on January 16 to 17, 2024, in Bethesda, Maryland.

The Mine-to-Magnet workshop is a two-day event that gathers stakeholders from across the supply chain and the US Government to discuss the barriers and potential to strengthen the US’ critical minerals and permanent magnet supply chains.

Mark Senti, AML’s CEO, is set to present at the Disruption and Substitutes session, which will include a presentation of AML and ReElement Technologies’ plan of applying innovation to drive positive change in the marketplace for the manufacturing and use of permanent magnets.

The presentation will provide an overview of AML’s PM-Wire™ permanent magnet technology platform, examples of how the company’s technology improves performance, and the collaboration on recycling-to-magnets.

About the Mine-to-Magnet workshop

The event includes many of the companies leading the sustainability transition, such as existing and emerging magnet manufacturers, mining companies, and innovators in technology and policy.

AML’s PM-Wire™

AML’s manufacturing capabilities are built upon its PM-Wire™ technology. This is a scalable and modular manufacturing process that has the ability to produce non-sintered and sintered permanent magnets at a high-rate and high-yield.

The process can be used for a variety of applications, including those that benefit from magnets in unique configurations and material compositions.
