Circulor recognised as one of Europe’s future tech giants

Circulor have been presented with DIGITALEUROPE’s ‘Future Unicorn’ award, highlighting their potential to evolve to be one of Europe’s tech giants.

What is the ‘Future Unicorn’ award?

For the past six years, the Future Unicorn award has been presented to scale-up companies that hold the most potential to become one of Europe’s future tech giants. DIGITALEUROPE consider thousands of tech companies and filter through them to determine those that hold the most promise.

Circulor were both selected and recommended by TechUK and were one of 17 nominees, across 14 European countries, that were considered for the Future Unicorn award.

“Circulor is a brilliant example of how European innovators expand within and beyond European borders,” commented Cecilia Bonefeld-Dahl, Director-General at DIGITALEUROPE. “Digital technologies have the potential to help other industries save 20% of global CO₂ emissions. The digital solutions provided by Circulor enable industrial supply chains to become sustainable and reveal CO₂ emissions to customers and the public. Digital action is climate action.”

What is Circulor?

Circulor is recognised as one of the leading sustainable supply chains that helps companies to recognise, address, and manage their ESG performance, Greenhouse Gas emissions, as well as their supply chains. Businesses can track the physical flow of critical materials from extraction to final production, along with associated ESG characteristics, which allows them to observe a dynamic picture of inherited emissions at the downstream.

Thus, Circulor are dedicated to encouraging companies to become more sustainable; they do so by delivering an enterprise software platform, which creates a dependable chain of custody materials, and connects GHG emissions and other ESG data directly to the flow of materials.

The Future Unicorn award being presented to Circulor highlights the company’s ability to deliver mature, proven, and complete technology solutions to their global customers that provide an accurate insight into complex industrial supply chains.

“Thank you to EU Commissioner Gabriel and DIGITALEUROPE for this honour and recognising Circulor as a future unicorn of Europe,” said Douglas Johnson-Poensgen, Founder and CEO of Circulor. “Tackling inherited carbon emissions in complex industrial supply chains is essential to a successful energy transition. Our digital solution enables our customers and growing networks to come together and gain the insights they need to affect real change on the path to net-zero.”
