Geoscience exploration company, Galvanic Energy, employs innovative strategies to mineral acquisition advancing the US renewable energy sector.
Galvanic Energy is a privately held exploration company targeting domestic resources to advance America’s renewable energy strategy. A geoscience-driven resource exploration company with expertise in reservoir characterisation and mineral acquisition, Galvanic employs innovative, proprietary discovery methods to identify natural resources essential to the US renewable energy sector.
Galvanic Energy develops resource plays that require low environmental footprints and utilise the least-invasive extraction processes to provide vertical integration of green technologies toward the development of electric mobilisation and energy storage.
Challenging the widely accepted notion that America must rely on other nations for its supply of lithium, used in batteries, Galvanic delineates and characterises geologic and reservoir properties to identify secure and sustainable quantities of lithium and other critical minerals dissolved in subsurface brines.
Galvanic delivers proven reserves to meet the US supply chain demand of rapidly growing markets, such as electric vehicles and energy storage. Its current project is a 115,000-acre lithium brine prospect in the Smackover Formation of southern Arkansas. Estimated at 4 million tonnes LCE with an average of 325 ppm lithium, it is the largest and most concentrated single lithium brine prospect in North America.
Given the resource potential and the proven historic performance of the Smackover reservoir, combined with the continued advancement of direct lithium extraction technologies, Galvanic’s Smackover prospect would substantially benefit the evolution of an ESG-centric domestic LIB and EV supply chain.
Galvanic is a founding associate member of the International Lithium Association.
